There are a host of reasons why homeowners look to increase the size of their home. Whether it's growing families or new hobbies, adding one or several rooms to your home is an effective and increasingly popular means of increasing your space. When done right, not only does a home addition provide extra space but it adds value to your home and increases its aesthetic charm.
Another increasingly popular avenue homeowners take are ADUs (accessory dwelling units), which refers to a secondary house or apartment that shares the building lot of the original house. ADUs are an efficient use of existing space and are perfect for growing families or for having a dedicated space for hobbies or activities.
If you have extra space at the bottom of your garden, an ADU may be a perfect choice. We pride ourselves in handling every step of the construction process, from design and implementation to clean-up.

During the gold rush period, around 1855, the city of Rancho Cordova was known as either Hangtown crossing or Mayhew’s crossing. The city was eventually named after the Cordova vineyard sitting in the middle of the Rancho Rio de Los Americanos land grant. The city bore other names, including Cordova Village and Cordova Vineyard, before it was eventually named Rancho Cordova in 1955 when a post office opened in the city. The city was later renamed Mayhew Station and then Mills Station in 1990.
There were several mining activities in the Rancho Cordova surrounding during the California gold rush in the mid-nineteenth century, of which some of the relics are still present to date. The town was called Mills, and the name stuck for several years.
William Leideisdorff was the original recipient of the Rancho Rio de Los Americanos in 1844; however, his death in 1848 left the grant to his heirs alongside some other properties in San Francisco. In 1855, Capt. Joseph Folsom bought the ranch from Leideisdorff’s heirs and named a town after himself - Folsom.
