Two Modern Backyard ADUs

This project transformed an underused backyard into two fully functional accessory dwelling units. Each ADU was designed with an open layout that combines the kitchen, living, and sleeping areas while maintaining a comfortable and practical flow. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light, while modern finishes, custom cabinetry, full-size appliances, and efficient mini-split systems make each unit ready for everyday living. On the exterior, the two structures share a clean, cohesive design with metal roofing, contemporary black-framed windows, and private entrances.
